My musical training has been shaped by a primarily classical environment, as revealed by my specialization in piano performance, a field I have been teaching for more than a decade as a private tutor, as well as by my studies in Musicology at Universidad Complutense de Madrid between 2012 and 2016, and my Master Certificate in Composition for Film and TV in 2017, taught by Berklee Online. My career has evolved towards the field of electronics during the last decade, and since 2015 I accumulate numerous independent publications which explore the intersection between classical composition and the aesthetic surface of contemporary popular electronic music. However, my activity as a live (electronic) music performer is recent, starting this very 2024: taking my music to a live setting has posed a significant challenge, mainly in regards to the design of compositional approaches that harmonize the interpretative spontaneity of traditional instruments such as the piano, which do without the rigidity of programming inherent to electronic instruments, and those musical genres and styles defined by loops and repetition. Ultimately, my interest in hardware and peripheral elements is minimal, while my goal is to make each live performance unique.
